Special Research Assistant (Postdoctoral) Position

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Passionate about scientific research, proactive, diligent, responsible, and possessing strong teamwork and communication skills.

2. Holds a PhD in a biology-related field, capable of conducting independent research, and has published high-level research papers as first or co-author in internationally recognized journals, or has achieved significant research results.

3. Has received professional training in synthetic biology, chemical biology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics, molecular biology, or molecular genetics; candidates with a background in synthetic biology are preferred.

4. Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in both Chinese and English, with the ability to follow the forefront of the discipline, independently conduct research projects, and write research proposals.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct independent research or carry out tasks assigned by the principal investigator (PI).

2. Assist the PI or independently apply for research projects and grants.

3. Support the PI in supervising graduate students.

Compensation and Benefits:

1. Salary and benefits follow institute regulations. The basic annual salary （including social insurance and housing fund） is RMB 200,000–300,000, with performance-based bonuses and potential adjustments for outstanding candidates.

2. Candidates selected for national or CAS programs (e.g., Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program, Postdoctoral International Exchange Program, CAS Special Research Assistant Program) will receive an additional RMB 5,000/month talent allowance during the project period.

3. Upon completion of the contract, candidates may apply for permanent positions at the institute or for talent introduction programs of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
